Type V Aerial Delivery Platform

The Heavy Equipment airdrop platform is in use by the U.S. Armed Forces and many allied nations.  It is LVAD and LAPE qualified for rigged loads weighing up to 42,000 lb.

Note: The LAPE airdrop method is not in current practice in the U.S. as a standard airdrop method.

 
DRAS Aerial Delivery Platform

The latest Heavy Equipment airdrop platform model developed.  The Dual Row Airdrop System (DRAS) platform is special purpose equipment developed specifically for LVAD using gravity roll-out from a C-17 aircraft.  It has an 88-inch overall width.  The design is basically a variant of the Type V airdrop platform.

 
Buffer Stop Assembly

The 3-g forward restraint normally used airdropping A-22 container from aircraft.

Mechanical Dereefer - The M-22 Family

A re-usable, variable-time parachute dereefing device.
